Born in the Bronx (2nd ed.)

The first edition of Born in the Bronx was originally published in 2007 by Rizzoli and designed by Mike Essl, an incredible designer and the current Dean of The Cooper Union School of Art. So it was an honor to rebuild this book from scratch using only an original copy of the book to work from and updated scans from the book’s photographer, Joe Conzo.

Without original design files to start from, this book was rebuilt from the ground up maintaining typography, image placement and page layout of the original book while also adding another 32 pages of photography. Additional image cleanup and color correction was also done.
